Litchi Pork is a traditional Fujian dish unique to Fuzhou, Putian and other places in Fujian Province. It originated from early Qing Dynasty and already has three hundred years history. The dish is cooked with white water chestnut and cross-cut pork and resembles the shape of litchi, thus the name. Litchi Pork looks bright in color and tastes sweet, sour and crisp.
Most people can eat it; However, those suffer from obesity, high blood sugar and high blood lipids should not eat too much of it.
